New Domino Lady Idea

Meet the Domino Lady of 2018. I had an idea and wanted your opinion. The Domino Lady is one of my favorite characters. I intend to keep the current storyline with her going. I had an idea for a modern day Domino Lady that ties together both time lines.
The character is either a hooker or journalist, I haven't decided. What do you think? Should she be a hooker who gets brutally beaten by a man named Wade Lilmeyer, Jr? After her recovery, she swears revenge. She researches Lilmeyer, Jr and discovers that his grandfather was involved in illegal dealings that ended when a mysterious woman known as The Domino Lady managed to pin crucial evidence on him. The Domino Lady was described as a vigilante donning an evening gown, cape and domino mask. She helped fight crime between 1932 and 1937 then mysteriously disappeared. She decides this would be the perfect way to get back at the grandson, reinvent The Domino Lady!
Or, should she be a recent Drama and Journalist grad from UCLA working as an intern at the LA times? She and her partner, while working on a community piece about developer Wade Lilmeyer, Jr, stumble across some inappropriate business dealings. Her partner goes missing and she gets threatened. Determined to uncover this story, she researches Lilmeyer, Jr and discovers the same info as above. To protect her identity while attempting to reveal the truth about Wade Lilmeyer, Jr, she decides to use the Domino Lady costume and persona.

2018-06-23 19:24:24 +0000 UTCIn this persona, she uses the Domino Lady Alter Ego to overcome her inhibitions. She does things as the Domino Lady that she's uncomfortable doing as herself. She finds the character sexy and liberating and enjoys dressing up and playing the role of vigilante. The costume also protects her true identity.
