【ENG】About pixiv requests (commissions)
Added 2021-03-28 07:41:52 +0000 UTCThis time, I'd like to talk about "pixiv request".
This is a function that allows you to request commissions from creators within pixiv, and is a service similar to "Skeb"
For those of you who don't know what commissions are, it's a way for creators to get paid for having their favorite characters and situations drawn by their favorite creators on a personal level.
In Japan, the culture of commissions had not taken root, but since the introduction of the "Skeb" service, commissions have become very popular in Japan.
Now, my Twitter account has been suspended, and I can't use "Skeb", which requires a Twitter account to be linked.
So I started using the same commission service, "pixiv request", but I haven't received a single request yet゚(゚´Д`゚)゚
I think that the fact that "the standard amount of request fees is higher than other creators' commissions" may be making it difficult for people to make requests.
So I thought I'd share a breakdown on FANBOX about the approximate amount of request fees.
If you look at my pixiv requests, you'll see that the standard amount for commissions is ¥40,000.
Some people who want to commission Ennorei may think that it is a very high price.
However, I believe that the price is appropriate.
And for this amount of money, how far would you go?
I'm thinking, "Background is OK, depiction of sexual intercourse is OK, composition of gang rape situations (one girl to several men) is OK.
I think this is something that can meet a rather high quality requirement.
What people probably want from an artist is "to draw a character of their choice or a character of their own design, with a background, in a situation of their choice", so I have set the standard amount at ¥40,000.
By the way, I can draw original works, derivative works of copyrighted works, erotic illustrations, and illustrations for all ages.
I can draw situations without any problem, as long as they are not too maniacal.
(I can't tell you about this until I see your request)
However, for requests where multiple characters are mixed on a single sheet (such as two or more girls being gang-raped by multiple guys), or requests where there are differences and dialogue, I would like to request a higher price than the standard. If it's a picture with a lot of work, I'd like more than that, and if the price is high, I'll be very motivated.
Some people may think, "Wouldn't it be better to lower the price to get more requests? "
I've thought about that too.
But the reason I don't is because it is my policy to never lower the quality of my work even if I have to... It sounds good to say, but in reality, I am not that clever, so even if I were asked to do something for a lower price, I would do my best.
But that would only make Ennore's creative work and life harder.
So I set the amount at ¥40,000 to make me happy and to increase the possibility that the person who made the commission will also be happy.
I don't want to talk about this after talking about it so much, but ¥40,000 is not a cheap price.
To be honest, if there is something else you want, you should probably spend the money on that.
However, there are some people who are attracted to Ennorei's illustrations and would like to have Ennorei draw their own characters or their favorite copyrighted characters in the situations they want.
If you are one of those people, please send me a pixiv request, and I will do my best to make your request come true.
If you are interested, please send me a request via pixiv request (see URL).

That's right! That's why I never sell my services cheap.

2021-03-30 01:06:10 +0000 UTCApparently, there are a lot of areas overseas that don't allow R18 (I think this issue has to do with Paypal payments). I'm also considering using other similar services for overseas (I'd like to run Fantia). Or I'd like to accept commissions via DM (or email, or Discord), what do you think?
