Absolution Experiment (Psychic & Dark)

Research Log date: 28th May, 5019

Our fourth and fifth subjects had the unusual benefit of starting at the same time. Due to budget cuts as a result of the lost equipment from the last subject, we were forced to push through  multiple subjects at once. Starting with the hard to pronounce Espsol, her connection to the eevee-gene went moderately well compared to the benchmark. A decent mix of the two dominant traits with little effect on performance or type ability. Her psychic abilities and attacks were actually a bit stronger than a normal Espeon able to bend a 180 kg steel I-Beam with psychic energy generated from her horn. Further testing will be required after she has bonded with a trainer to see if she can achieve even more abilities down the line.

Now onto the Umbrsol. While he started out with several behavioral problems, he does seem to cooperate with one of our interns when it comes to data collection. Due to Absol already being a dark type, the eevee-gene failed to perform any noticeable changes outside of physical changes. No new skill or abilities have emerged that’s any stronger or weaker than each pokemon can output on their own. By all accounts its little more than an absol with a new coat of paint. Expecting difficulties in finding trainers that are willing to put them through field testing.

Trainer Personal Log:

My big bro always tended to try to get himself the best end of any deal when it comes to something we both want. Trying to get the bigger slice of pizza, the first of us to get laid, even getting the player one controller in any multiplayer video game. But when we found out that our two special pokemon where into doing naughty stuff with us, he staked his claim on the Espsol, making sure to play and breed with her every chance he got. Jokes on him though this time. Umbrsol maybe quite the handful at times, but when the time comes for some naughty play, he seems to take to it right away; laying nice and still as I breed him hard.

My ongoing project of my favorite  pokemon, Absol, mixed with the eeveelution line of pokemon. Accompanied with these research logs to plant the seeds of a possible lore to them.
