The Conservation of Guy Wiggins Episode 7: "Finally, the Frame"
After seeing the painting fully conserved the client was so delighted that the condition of the original frame was just not acceptable. It was agreed upon that an attempt to salvage and restore the frame would be prudent. In this coda to the painting conservation Julian works to undo the damage and recent overpainting of the frame.

Guy Carleton Wiggins NA (February 23, 1883 – April 25, 1962) was an American impressionist painter. He was the president of the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the Old Lyme Art Colony. He was taught by William Merritt Chase and Robert Henri at the National Academy. He became well known for paintings of New York City's snowy streets, landmarks and towering skyscrapers during winter.
