BFAR Artist Brushes?

Hey gang,

Since I've trusted you to name the tools I build, and have mini-therapy sessions with you, I figured you might be interested in helping me make a decision.

I've been approached by a brush manufacturer who is interested in producing a limited line of BFAR artist brushes. They sent me some student grade samples and after destroying them I wasn't all that impressed but their premium line is significantly nicer and definitely interesting.

I'm conflicted; on one hand it sounds so cool to have your own brushes (Bob Ross did ;), I mean who wouldn't jump at the opportunity; just think of the bragging I'll get to do at my High School reunion ;) On the other, it feels a bit ridiculous and opportunistic and a capitalistic grab; I'm a conservator, not an artist and my use of and take on brushes is very different than that of artists.

So, braintrust, what say you? Feel free to elaborate in the comments.
