*FULL UNCUT* Glee 2x09 reaction - "Special Education"

yes! the performances in this episode were top notch!! i still keep thinking about them 😭 it was so nice to see some of the other characters get to shine especially santana (we all know i’m obsessed with her). Valerie is definitely one of my favourite and most memorable covers... i think the original song has always been another favourite of mine and they did it so well that i can’t help but love it! 2x10 was definitely a fun one since i was watching a christmas episode in march but it made me realise that i’m already half way through the season which is crazy 😭 i’m really excited to see where the second half of the season goes ahhhhh !!

I really loved this episode! One of those you find yourself just singing the songs when you’re doing random stuff 😩 2x10 was definitely not as memorable but considering it was a christmas episode i was watching in march i really wasn’t expecting a lot lmao 😭 also yes! the tie was necessary for the story so i accept it.... especially since we needed to keep kurt and blaine around otherwise i would’ve been heartbroken 💔

Been waiting for this reaction this is a favorite Glee episode of mine. Mentioned in the comments for last episode's reaction that 2 of my favorite covers that happened in Glee happen in this episode. "Valerie" and "Dog Days Are Over" are 2 of my favorite covers from Glee (easily within my top 20). Love that you said the "Valerie" cover is one of your favorite covers that Glee has done. The "Valerie" cover has actually been considered by both tv critics and fans of Glee to be one of the best covers from of all the songs performed on Glee. Always felt since I've watched Glee that Naya Rivera (Santana) ended up being a part of some of the best covers that happened on Glee (There is a cover she is a part of in Season 3 that is easily my favorite cover that happened on Glee and she is also a part of many great covers next season including one of the best duets). The next few episodes are "fun" episodes before we get into storylines that carry on into next season. Looking forward to when you get to episode 2X15 through the rest of Season 2 then into Season 3 as a whole. Not only do some of the best covers happen in the later half of Season 2 as well as Season 3 (Season 3 has some of the best covers) but storylines really start to include more characters so you are really going to start to see some character development happening (for example 2x15 is great in terms that the major focus of the episode is on 2 specific characters with essentially all other characters being secondary characters and those 2 characters storyline really progresses within the episode then continues to be addressed through the rest of season 2 and essentially throughout the rest of the series).

I love this episode! I love when the other characters get to shine and that’s what makes this season so good. Next episode is a corny episode but it’s very sweet. I’m so excited for the rest of the season because you’re about to get to some amazing stuff. You’re right about this not feeling worthy of a tie. The new directions were definitely better but they needed a reason to keep the warblers around for Kurts storyline. Great reaction <3
