If Dabi found out way earlier, he'd either use the kid (depending on the quirk) to add to his Endeavor shenanigans or have her 'not keep' the kid. Again erase all soft headcanon for this Dabi
Jiyuu on the other hand (we know she never prioritizes her happiness) planned to keep things secret and send Ryuusei away for adoption to give him the opportunity for a normal life she can't provide before going back to the league
