I mean I mostly subbed for the chapters but also cause writing is time consuming. If I want to get well, I should give. Your story is worth me supporting your effort in writing it. I will say that I don't mind if it moves where thr primary support is. It's not as if you're taking away from the people that supported or choose to support more. (Least that's how I see it.)

Thank you. I will try to make up for it by giving side chapters. But we'll experiment this month first.

The reason I gave $10 was that I got hooked on reading from scribblehub and then wanted to continue reading right away. If you decide to lower it to $5 I think that would be cool for others but I myself will be staying at $10. I check after work everyday to see if a new chapter gets uploaded.

I see. Well, considering the comments so far on RR and here and SH, I think I might be effecting an experiment tomorrow till the end of the month to see if I don't screw myself over.

I think, if i remember right, the main reason I'm at $10 is because when I became a backer that was the only tier that had Salvos advanced chapters(I think RR was only 4 chapters at the time). I never read Melas because I'm bad at handling tragedy and/or kidnap/captured story lines(which from my understanding of reviews is the first 30 chapters of it. I still kinda want to read it because I like witch MCs that are not evil. Anyways I'd likely stay at $10 even if you made the change to $5 for all advanced chapters. That's mainly because I really like the story and your writing, and because I don't feel like your price gouging. I know there's been stories out there that I really liked but didn't back because the author wanted $13 or more for chapters. It's kinda funny how if you want $10 I'm fine but you start going $12 and I start feeling the author is being greedy. I kinda agree with Lictor Magnus though, at $5 I'd likely never even reconsider subscribing, even if I stopped reading the story.

I back a bunch of different authors and plenty of them only charge $5 and do quite well. Depending on how the story is going I always reconsider backing the $10 stories but I never cancel the $5 ones. A great story (which you already have covered), consistent posting schedule, and $5 for advance chapters will lead to a lot of patrons.

As a reader I won't say no to more chapters for less, but if I were to think from a writers prospective I would want to make it as reasonable as possible without negatively impacting my ability to create the story. There is also no harm in experimenting.

I'm not really aiming to earn more. I don't think I'll ever make as much as Shirtaloon. (He makes as much as pirateaba!) Personally, I just want to not lose a lot of patrons if I make the change. As in, not drop below $1000 xD If I make the change and make more than $1000, it's a win for me.

well with the Patreon thing it really depends. You can technically earn more with the 5$ you just need more people, and when it's cheaper, people ( like myself,) will stay, but experiment and see. PS and I recommend giving some of salvos in 1tir one just to get people hooked)

I appreciate it <3 I forgot to mention this in the author's notes, but another reason why I feel like doing this in addition to feeling very bad for charging people $10, is that I also don't want my fanbase to be too divided. I think it was pirateaba who told me not to do it because it would split my audience up, but I listened to the advice of another author then, not realizing what pirateaba meant.

Do what you are comfortable with, but if you do change it from $10 to $5 then I'm still perfectly happy paying $10 even without any extra benefits.
