I think you're on to something actually. It's not that he's my favorite. It's that I've stopped feeling anything about him which is a problem because...he's the central motivation for literally everything Salvos is doing. I feel like I should care more that she get back to the Netherworld because she cares so much. It seems problematic to me that the central character's motivation feels so unimportant to much of the audience.

I also would like to get an update on Haec but I honestly can't believe so many people like him the most out of all the characters. Sure he's the only other good demon we know of but otherwise he mostly just followed Salvos around for the first chapters.

Going with Haec on this one. Daniel is the lonely and regretful Isekai hero who struggles with the loss he feels with it only better when he's around his friends. Edith is the most normal out of the group she isn't incredible powerful but she is a more down to earth and relatable character as she's just a good person that wants to do the right thing. The there Haec out of all the characters he's the unique where he isn't a mysterious and unbelievable powerful being, no he is character who we know the origin of, someone that is still in the netherworld and can give the perspective of a demon that was raised there while we know his personality and likely his loyalties. He isn't a human and neither is he a being that stays around them so everything thing he does is based around what a demon would do which in my opinion is unique among all the characters.

Can't believe so few people chose Haec. It's been so long, and we have no idea what's going on with him. It feels like the next time we see him he's going to somehow be the Demon King or final boss or something; the build up is crazy.

Edithe for me. To me she has the most compelling and believable character arc, granted Daniel's is finally getting some spotlight so we'll see if it stays that way.

Fairy sensei is fun and I like the whole mystery going on with the Fairy Queen and her allegiances. Saffron is a colorful character. Those rocks though. I mean even if they are each only one-millionth as cool as some of the other characters, there are so many of them that it adds up to literal mountains of awesome. Without rocks, there is no world to adventure in.

Chose her classmates, specifically Lamarr. I would like to see them become recurring characters after this arc, maybe even close enough for her to consider some of them companions.

I chose Saffron because I think Salvos and Saffron complement each other in a way. Saffron and Salvos both, have a secret identity and have essence skills. There is also something satisfying about two characters who are complete opposites and from backgrounds that should make them hate each other get along. I want more Saffron.

I'd have chosen Salvos + Daniel if I could. Not because I ship them but because they work so well together on-screen. They also remind me of a S&M couple

I chose Edith because I like the dialogues with the other guild members. Daniel is at the moment the lonely hero with less people he can talk to and I want some dialogues at the moment. Best case scenario would be some history of the world or kingdom.

I was tempted to vote rocks, but in the end Edithe won out for caring for Salvos and keeping up witha demon and a hero. Also she's the only member of the core party with common sense.
