Deepest condolences. It feels awkward to say this but you do usually ask, so: one typo, and feedback. “They were seaweed and seashells as clothing”: “were” -> “wore”. Feedback: the conversation with the guards was very stilted and not up to your usual standard. I know you want to post more (talking about writing on the plane), but seriously, take time to grieve. Revisit the chapter in a month or so to rewrite that dialogue, and try to take a break. Working now will just mess you up more. If you think you must do something then perhaps sketch out more arcs or stories but don’t flesh them out. Not yet. I can’t speak for other patrons, but I’m not going anywhere. We’ll be here for you when you get back to writing.
