[Salvos] Webtoon End of Episode 1

And you can also see some of the changes the webcomic made. Specifically, with Nyevetii using fire magic.

I'm actually not sure if I should end the episode here, or continue on until Salvos defeats the large Infant Demon. This would be a shocking end point, I guess? But would it keep webcomic readers reading? That's the question...

Anyhow, this is exclusive to you $10 tier patrons. What do you think?

The perfect ending to the chapter in my opinion. Since the scene is all about the shock factor it would be strange if it kept going. Cliffhangers aren’t a good habit but as long as you don’t over use them they can be a good way to get the reader hooked.

Haec is of completely different color. Same is true for most demons. Green, yellow, red, and many others colors are frequent skin colors of demons based on the examples we've seen.

Alexey Gladkich

They all are similar, so I understand why you mistook her for the big one, so no big deal. But I still think that it would be better if the chapter ended with Salvos defeating the wild infant demon.

Viedu

Oh, you are right. But it looks misleading in the two images. It is hard to tell the difference since their skin color is too similar.

Alexey Gladkich

She is not the one who hit her head, the wild infant did, Nyevetii is under its head, squashed. Nyevetii is the leader of the first group Salvos met, the the first death Salvos witnessed.

Viedu

She isn't squashed. It looks more like she hit the floor with her head for no reason.

Alexey Gladkich

It traps them in the series before they know it πŸ˜†

Gonvas

For me this is a great way to end chapter 1. Makes a person want go read the next chapter.

Gonvas

Well Nyevetii is squashed, so it still might be a cliff, though yeah, I have to agree that it is not too large.

Viedu

Actually, there are two slides that you can see now... I wouldn't call this a cliffhanger...

Alexey Gladkich

It might make them want to continue reading, to know what happens next, but cliffhangers can also have the opposite effect. It all depends on how often you want to release a chapter. Though generally, I would not recomend leaving a cliffhangers this early on, too high of a risk.

Viedu

This makes for a great cliffhanger leading into the next release of the web toon
