Sorry, chapter delayed because I missed my train
Added 2022-05-06 10:05:00 +0000 UTCI’ll do a double post on Tuesday. I know I promised a chapter in my previous post, but cause I was working on the chapter before I left, I missed my train. I initially planned to finish the chapter while on the train and post it, but I really am not in the mood to finish the chapter and am starting my mini-break a few hours early as I wait for the next train.
But as I said, I’ll make up for it on Tuesday with a double post. And you can always read Trace, Tian, or Melas in the meantime.
PSA: the stupid fucking refund system for Amtrak is absolute dogshit.

@MeltingSky the Elf arc was simply poorly conceived. The Elves ended up being unlikeable and subplots were dumb. Normally, this should've been reworked but Patreon publishing model doesn't really allow any time for that, so...

The good arcs and chapters are truly epic and impactful, but then it will go off the rails and you will get something like the elf arc where I think the writer had something in mind and then they chickened out halfway through and the story just meanders for a bit. Sadly, one of the weaker parts of the story is the beginning which probably turned off quite a few people.
