Because she can't turn into a dragon yet bruh. Wyverns are literal closest match she can do right now.

2022-05-28 17:36:04 +0000 UTCYes, I checked. Salvos got the same unallocated stat awards for all previous Class advancements that she got for Subspecies advancements. This is the first one that has been different. See chaps 9/152 for Lv 10s, 40/190 for Lv 40s, 99/125/261 for Lv 70s. Chaps 150/237/371 are Lv 100s.

2022-05-28 09:25:13 +0000 UTCNoticed a possible error back at the start of Chapter 371: '[Grand Mystic of the Nexeus] -> [Draconic Apprentice] Gained 20 Stat Points!' Shouldn't this be: 'Gained 30 Stat Points!' ? Every advancement at a given level for class or subspecies has provided consistent unallocated Stat points, 5 at Lv 10, 10 at Lv 40, 20 at Lv 70, and 30 at Lv 100. At least, Salvos Subspecies advancement and Edithe's Class advancement got 30 points at Lv 100. So I think it might be an error that Salvos got 20 last chapter for her Lv 100 Class advancement instead?

2022-05-28 09:03:59 +0000 UTCSalvos never promised the Mistress of the Remnants anything. That wyvern only gave Salvos a dying plea, which Salvos is entirely free to ignore or accept. Though personally speaking I want her to save the Frost Wyverns, if only so they venerate her as the chosen one when she inevitably takes the form of a silver-white wyvern, heh.
