Those two Deathsquadders must be shitting bricks in that room at this point, weirded out to the point of total shock. Just imagine, a lesser god that looks like an alien horror centipede killed all your more powerful teammates like nothing, then shapeshifts into Smurfette, all her friends want to instantly kill you, then she alters space with her mind to make a jail cell for you with two flaming guards inside, while they figure out whether to kill you now, later or not at all, and you slowly start understanding that this person is the designated enemy of the demon king, which makes her his peer. :)

2023-12-04 13:27:39 +0000 UTCHer thinking whether to deport them into either the mortal realm or the spirit world doesn't make much sense - she could simply dump them back into the netherworld and they could no longer see her pocket dimension nor track it, thus being harmless. Haec being wrath-driven in his decision-making is an interesting development. However, what I'm most curious about is what can they possibly do there in the given time frame. Sure, they can take out a dozen of primeval demons, but eventually this is going to attract a serious enough force to stop them, even without fighting Regnorex directly. They can disrupt Regnorex's plans, but what happens then? They don't have enough power to resolve the issues quickly enough. Also, Salvos is not immortal, not even at the level of Mori Gladius, where she could die and come back once in a month or so, which makes her quite vulnerable in her situation. Sure, she had close calls in the mortal realm, but Haec's plan to go free demons and subvert Regnorex, in his own domain, is just asking to get killed. Sure, that's the only place where the problem can actually be solved because they could not be proactive in the mortal realm, but damn are they underpowered and vulnerable.

2023-12-03 08:44:21 +0000 UTCThat's true, but I'm not sure if it's something that will ever be fixed, because he obviously aims for a future in the Netherworld, and she aims to return to the Mortal realm and a future beyond. Also, I think Samuel was right that Haec, although nice and somewhat similar to Salvos, is not on her order of magnitude. I see Haec taking over the Netherworld, and Salvos might end up as a high-order cosmic being or something, and there's also a trend of "pride" as her dominant spiritual trait being replaced by love/compassion. She might say she's a demon but honestly, she doesn't "feel" like one anymore, because, as childish as she can sometimes appear, I see her primary trait being love, because that's the primary reason behind all her actions, and her secondary trait is wisdom, because she seems to understand deep problems very quickly and see through superficial stuff. Sure, she's not the most virtuous person we've seen, because that would be Belphegor, and she's nowhere near the most powerful, but she certainly seems to be on a vector towards something special. Haec, on the other hand, is someone who looks like good material for a planar ruler, but nothing more. I see Salvos progressing in her understanding that she can't drag her "companions" with her, instead empowering them in their respective existences and keeping in touch.

2023-12-02 09:43:03 +0000 UTCI was thinking how I hope she'll get to 150 in her class before facing anything major, but I'm almost scared of the options she might get after using corruption weapons and protections so extensively. Sure, nobody under 200 has any defence against it so it's incredibly effective, but relying on that instead of divinity might result in getting upgrade paths that are all corruption-based, like Fallen Draconic Apprentice or Agent of Corruption. That would suck. Also, she has a problem in that she's essentially "fighting naked" - no Divinity-based high-end protective artefacts to tank attacks. This might help her advance more quickly since she doesn't rely on gadgets, but her defence is basically her temporary immortality grand skill, and when that's on cooldown she's basically screwed. I wish she took the time to create something in the order of the breastplate of Alexander, a Divinity-based armour that would help her deal with that, and she would also level up by doing something as sophisticated, without having to constantly expose herself to fights with multiple nigh-primordials.
