Sure, Amelia is strong, but Edlyn is a cook; everybody with a combat class would always be stronger than her and could theoretically kill her on a whim, but that's not a valid reason to be scared of them. Maybe it made sense in the beginning when she wasn't sure how balanced and reliable Amelia is, but obviously nobody else is scared of her so it would be reasonable to conclude she's perfectly safe.
