Oh man, the lich king coming in with a reasonable goal. I mean, technically he is absolutely right. Undeath would remove the negatives of life if all who are undead still have free will.

2023-04-16 09:28:38 +0000 UTCI was half expecting Amelia to somehow appear in Arthur’s soul and be like “sup?” Fal-Deus can enter other’s souls for subversion so maybe Amelia can do something similar as she is it’s enemy. Though she wouldn’t be trying to subvert the soul but lead it to salvation by reaching out a hand. Ideal method as the enemy of the Fal-deus.

2023-04-16 07:54:01 +0000 UTCWhelp, Amelia can step in when Angel feels satisfied or despairing about lacking power. Maybe she can teach him to make his own techniques? Wonder if Amelia can do anything for Arthur and make him be at peace? Amelia and Arthur are similar yet different. Amelia was taken away from her home planet and fought to return only to find there was nothing left for her due to so long having passed. So she just wants to rest and live her life now like a jaded war veteran (with the amount of fighting she has done, only thing missing it surviving while her comrades didn’t but she was a one woman army). Arthur had everything taken away from him and dedicated himself into preventing future tragedies by changing existence by making people immortal undead. Maybe not that similar when seen that way after all… well maybe she can convince him that living your life is good enough and you don’t need to upend life itself in your grief.
