The human age of consent idea may not be as applicable, but she was so obviously immature when she first met Daniel. I am willing to admit that she might have went through some sort of mental puberty upon getting Lesser Enhanced Wisdom and more general life experiences, but she was clearly a minor (mentally and emotionally speaking) in the first book. The most generous analogy I can imagine for Daniel is that he has a crush on someone who was mentally and emotionally under 10 years old when he first met her as a 20-something year old. Even if she rapidly grew up over the course of the series, there is an ick factor here that I can't overlook

Her trying to find out what romantic love is then deciding it’s impossible for her because she loves herself too much is the most Salvos thing ever. Salvos is my favorite character for bow incredibly prideful and how she feels like she’s better than everyone else but doesn’t look down on them because it’s only natural for her to be better than them because, after all, she’s her salvos. In basically any other series that kinda character would come off as completely unbearable but Salvos is just to Salvos for that to be the case.

Also, I don't ship any of the characters, but Daniel's crush on Salvos is/was 100% the absolute worst. Loser hero knew her when she was literally 1 or 2 years old. I rather see Salvos end up with literally anyone else than her first two human companions

Honestly, I have been waiting for that for a while, because I feel that... even if there aren't many examples... a lot of good demons are dying due to their slave status. It would have been nice if she could have freed many of the demons at the ritual site and watched pandemonium ignite, once demons realized they had options. Probably tactically foolish, but what can you do?

That should get the hunters off their backs. Although, if they are going to stand around telling each other their life story's, they should probably do so in Salvos' pocket dimention. Lot safer in there.
