[Salvos] 702. Wings (Removed for KU)

(Removed for KU)

Comments

The problem with levelling them is they never get the chance. Every single sub-150 demon they encountered so far was non-hostile, and fighting anything above 140 is super dangerous for any of them (other than Hartia) and deadly for Aemula. Sure, if they had a horde of wild demons sub-120 to fight, that would be an opportunity, but I would rather have them not die. It's interesting how Aemula is probably as strong as Salvos immediately after the Plaguelands, and she's super weak here.

Danijel Turina

All compqnions have to level up. I wish we would get more detailed stats and skills of Haec, Taburas, maybe Hartia and the rest.

Użytkownik Przeciętny

Wouldn't that be quite the quick and mercyful end if he doesn't even pollute the black pool with the corruption that was necessary to slay him? ;)

Dragonmaster_42

... or present a more juicy target elsewhere

Dragonmaster_42

It looks like a more advanced version of Salvos' skill, unfortunately. Honestly, it's about time she practices and evolves her magic, and apparently she can only be bothered to do it in battle. Things were better when she had free time for herself during nights because the humans slept. :)

Danijel Turina

How have we not discussed Jofis' powers so far?! [Armageddon Unleashed], grey armor, he might (involuntarily) mentor Salvos in Nebular creation magic until his (imminent) death! Could this give a glimps into the future of [Call of Armageddon]?

Dragonmaster_42

No one ever said that Regnorex was a good king

Precursor

I think she has a sort of regenerating budget of [(Divine) Haste] that she can split among the targets and castings. But I'm not sure if that is based in evidence or just my intuition...

Dragonmaster_42

Regnorex's kingdom is such a nice place... his "trusted aides" are trying to level themselves up "in order to better serve their King" actually in order to be strong enough to depose him, and the only reason why they don't join forces to do it is because every single one of them wants to be the King, and every single one of them knows that anyone else would be even worse than Regnorex. All the while, in Samuel's kingdom his last surviving follower is toiling in his tomb fighting the wall of infinite corruption just for the hope that 50000 years later his King might return.

Danijel Turina

How does the [Divine Haste] work again, was it a charge that is used up instead of a cooldown. If i remember correctly she could use [Haste] on Daniel and Edithe. Does this still work with [Divine Haste]? So could she give everyone a charge to use in the fight?

Tim

to be fair though none of her clones used corruption and she didn't pop any of her grand skills

Brandon14754

Won't Salvos, Haec and any potential allies teleport in before Jofis can kill the third clone? Honestly, I'm constantly at the edge of my seat for the next chapters! How much can she utilize her advantages from divinity and corruption? Her clones can serve as distractions but her normal (creation) magic will not do much. Even her space magic might be mostly useless (except [Worldbreak] maybe?) I mean we can be pretty Sure that none of Reggie's subordinates except for maybe the chained person and Oracli are divine. But how many levels does it take to make up for that? 10 each? I need damn answers!!! Now!!!

Dragonmaster_42

"Because if you take too long, then there is definitely no chance this rebellion of ours will amount to anything" - wow, that's interesting. "This rebellion of ours", not "yours". As snarky as he is (and with some justification, since he's been locked up in a corrupted hellhole, taken out only for hard work, and not taken seriously the last few times he warned them, he is apparently really siding with them. I like that. Salvos, can you please just let him out? He needs to make his own free choices.

Danijel Turina

This all looks pretty bad; so far I counted 4 lvl 190+ enemies, all en route, which means she'll have to deal with them soon after engaging Jofis. Also, those stragglers are apparently all doomed, and I don't think there's time for the central group to disperse quickly enough to be saved, so they are certainly not safe, and in worst case scenario, they will all be killed. For them, the odds are grim. However, it's not all bad. Assuming Salvos wins the first fight, the second and perhaps third will all take place within the time span of her [Divine Essence of...] Grand Skill, and maybe even the rest of them. I hope it's a hard fight, because she can't level as much as I'd like her to if it's not, and she'll get super cocky if it's not, but I also hope it's a resounding triumph for her. I also hope Haec gets his ego deflated, because this hero/leader bullshit is annoying, because he's neither.

Danijel Turina

No, they didn't, but I'm afraid that's the logical outcome of freeing the legions before eliminating the main threats. I'm afraid more will join them in that big pool of ink, but there's one possible good side to this - if Jofis gets experience from them, and Salvos kills him, she basically inherits that experience and levels more.

Danijel Turina

She's his leader after all!

Dragonmaster_42

What intrigues me about this scene is that it implies Manos to be a Primordial.

Dragonmaster_42

Despite Salvos being a bit reluctant, I think this fight is a massive chance to bust Out her brand new skills and develop them. I think [Worldbreak] is a space magic attack. But what it it is infused with essence, divinity or corruption? Because of my interpretation of the corruption, I'm not that worried about Salvos using it but she needs to be in control. I think it's perfectly fine for her to bust it out in battle and collect the remnants in a room of her pocket space for other uses. I wonder if she could use her pocket space as a battery not only for corruption but also essence, magic and divinity. Could she take some of her divine energy every day and pump it into a room in her pocket space to draw from in a tougher fight? Something like that would even exercise her Manipulation of that.

Dragonmaster_42

"“Why are you asking me? I’m not the leader here.” I replied. Taburas shifted her feet when she heard that. “Because you’re the one who usually seems to come up with a plan.”" - yeah, that's called being a leader.

Danijel Turina

“Now, Sicar, assume the position.” - LOL, "Sicar, you dropped your soap, please bend over" :))

Danijel Turina

“I wonder how long it’ll take me to crush this rebellion.” - I wonder whether he'll still be asking himself that question once he's dispersed into that big pool of black ink. :)

Danijel Turina

Teleportation, no. Opening a corrupted rift, surrounding them with corruption to disrupt their magic and pull them in, yes.

Danijel Turina

They now have to remove a million liberati from the bullseye, and quickly, because if not, this Haec's harebrained plan is going to get them all killed within an hour.

Danijel Turina

“We must have underestimated the power of the Enemy and the Traitor. That is why Venas is dead, Hartia is defeated, and over half the legions have been freed.” - wow, some brain cells are firing up somewhere. :)

Danijel Turina

"He glanced back towards the crater, staring at the corpses of a dozen [Hellabominations], their blood pooling at the bottom. " -a and yes, apparently they do have captive wild demons they use for levelling their fighters.

Danijel Turina

The only thing I can think of is teleporting every high lvl enemy o the fold between the planes

Sivart

Also, the way her clones fared against Jofis is why I keep saying she needs levels for Regnorex. If the level differential is too big, and for some reason her Grand Skills don't work or aren't available, she's fucked. Also, this is why Haec's plan of invading Regnorex's domain, freeing everybody and then thinking about the rest if you manage to get that far is idiocy. Yes, they are time-constrained, but the way to approach that is to completely mess up the ritual first, delay it by a cycle, and then roam the wilderness and level by killing the wild demons until they are close to 190. I'm pretty sure she can kill the Batman, but she'll have to use all of her Grand Skills to do it, and that might leave her vulnerable to the next strong guy in line. The good part is that she might start taking things seriously for a change, because if she's fighting the "boring" enemies, she's not really levelling herself for the big fight and it's a waste of time. She needs hard fights, like Ira, Levithus and the corrupted hellspaces. She hits far above her weight class, but that argument works only until it doesn't.

Danijel Turina

This looks very much like her fight with Ira - the clones got killed off quickly, she had to get involved herself, and it took everything she had to defeat him. Unfortunately, after Ira she could rest and evolve. This time, more enemies of similar strength. I sure hope the [Claw of Corruption] lvl2 has shorter cooldown because otherwise I don't know how she's going to deal with it. And yes, the exposed legions got killed off just as I feared, and this bastard is levelling himself up for a Primordial evolution.

Danijel Turina

Poor 23st legion they didn't deserve that fate

Rd Zg

Two fun and promising chapters on consecutive days? Let's found a religion and make today a holiday! Thanks, Melas! I can't wait for the fight to really kick off!

Dragonmaster_42

Imagine Salvos putting all Legion Leaders in small Prisions.

Zuuuuuri

Manos sounds like a nice lad to who just wants to have some fun 😂

Plateworm

Poor Hartia. He got turned into a magic item as well as an magical 8-ball. How the mighty have fallen kekw. Also LOL at Manos being awkward as hell, Bruh can't even fly smh. Time for Salvos to bust out some cool new moves with her class.

Ihaxlikenoob

A dire situation, but I'm sure Salvos is gonna aggro the Great Goatarus and end them all.
