Susan's Story #40 - Shopping

Susan was on a mission. A mission her younger self would be terrified of; Shopping for clothes. Lingerie no less. The determined girl used the city’s public transport to get to the inner streets of the shopping districts. It had been a while since she last came here, as clearly signaled by the thin layer of snow covering most of the pathways, rather than autumn-colored leaves. But Susan pressed on, trying to not pay attention to glaring onlookers. Women with similar large shapes were also wandering about, which comforted her slightly.

Finally, she made her way inside the store she recognized. Susan hadn’t actually been inside before, so she took a good look around the wide range of apparel hanging on the shelves. It took a moment for her to realize none of them would fit her body, despite what the storefront displayed. Susan went up the escalator in search for those, and she clearly found what she was looking for.

Her eyes immediately jumped to the set of three mannequins in the same pose to her left, each wearing the same outfit but all with varying bust sizes. Clearly they were showcasing how flexible their outfits were. The biggest of the three was nearly Susan’s size, but she didn’t like how much stomach was showing. But that wasn’t the reason she was there.

Susan made her way to the back end of the store to the lingerie section. Then she realized she had no idea what kind to wear. The nervous girl spent a good few minutes walking back and forth, trying to pick one to try out. All the while hoping the store cleric wouldn’t approach her. Susan mustered up enough courage, grabbing the one that looked the least extreme with a reasonable price tag. She carried it to one of the fitting chambers, placing it on the bench inside. Susan took a deep sigh before starting to unbutton her winter jacket.

I actually had the pose and render all set, but then a thought occurred. 'What if Susan was too embarrassed to look at the lingerie she was wearing?'

aaaaaand then I made a whole bunch of poses to tell that story visually. Mind you, I made this before deciding to do these kinds of things less often because it was rather exhausting. Still, it was definitely worth it.
