Like any self respecting creative, I absolutely adore cutting corners and being lazy where I can get away with it, and backgrounds are no exception.
Not having to draw up a backgrounds because past me has already done the job is like not having done your homework but finding out your teacher is out sick.
I always hang onto backgrounds I've drawn for that very reason.
But occasionally I find myself in need of a background set that I've already drawn but hasn't aged well as I've gotten better and drawing them.
On these occasions I bite the bullet and redraw the background giving it a HD remake if you will.
I know that 99% of people would never notice, In fact that's the point, when I redraw them I do my best to make sure it's as close to the original as I can for sake of consistency and place.
I want long time viewers to recognise the places we revisit.
NOW!
Normally I'd consider these little changes unothworthy, At the end of day these little things fly past unnoticed in a instant and just something I only do so I can maintain pride in my work.
But I'm also the sort that likes to know how the sausage is made and love watching the behind the scenes of movies and the like, So I know what I might consider just another day, might be interesting to some of ye that are the curious sort like me so I thought it might be worth sharing something I do knowing full well most won't notice.
If these type of more "how it's made" posts are something you like let me know below.
But in a "I'm actually interested" way,
If you're more of a "I like you so I will pretend to care about this but I actually don't" then just tell me who's in your top 5 celeb todo list
we didn't start the bizzare
