MAY '20 WIP: Bold Old Charr
Added 2020-05-13 23:47:45 +0000 UTCI ended up doing two streams for ArenaNet in short timespan, resulting in finally moving ahead (well, as much as you can in a two-hour margin) with two old in-progress paintings of two old charr.
Morhault's revenant invasion / red hot chilli peppers for lunch, dinner and midnight snack is kind of inching towards finished state at this point. I'm really happy with the colors, still on the fence about how to do the spirits and I'll need to rework the eye a bit.
Nallthar's jackalsitting has, on the other hand, barely started. I originally began that one in August 2018 as a quick color sketch to try out desert palettes when I got lucky with the Mirror Masked jackal skin. I'm quite happy with it so far, just gonna need a date with several reference sheets which I did not have for the streams (kinda flew unprepared into the second one because it was a bit of a last minute arrangement).
... I wonder if comrade Freud has anything to say about me having a choice what to poke about and picking two old geezers on both ends of the "enjoying solitary zen / absolutely flipping every mental table" spectrum.
I wonder if I'll get to finish at least some of these this year.
