Overhaul

Beware, long post, but please, bear with me, it’s somewhat useful in terms of Patreon restructuring and such.

So, I have been trying to rework my Patreon from the ground up for a better part of the past year and a half, and it feels a bit like pouring water from a sinking ship - every time I go and polish one thing, two more require an update.

And so I decided I may as well do it publicly and on the fly, so my patrons actually have something out of it. Expect to see some random design pieces and icons popping out of nowhere and quite a few temporary solutions and placeholders, but I suppose it’s at least a bit better than staring at a blank wall.

I aim to make my posts somewhat regular now (and I created quite the backlog over the past few weeks).

Biggest change will be a tier overhaul. I will likely simplify things into three major categories – my own creator-owned work (Semper Fidelis, Borderline, Silent Lands, etc.), my Guild Wars themed artwork and general fanart bin (when I get around to posting any…). Still trying to figure out the best way to solve this, so feel free to let me know if you would like to see any particular way of bracket sorting.

There will also be two monthly (mostly) regular features you may have seen happening in the past months – a stream (at least one) for general public and a monthly work-in-progress report for patrons.

I also have a few extra perks I am planning to throw your way in terms of patron-only rewards. 

Planned future bonuses:

• First pick of physical goodies
• A special thank you in any published books
• Special perks for long-time patrons (I have a few plans in this regard, but I need to figure out if and how they’re doable for my schedule).

There is also a Discord server in the works for quite a while now, I will update you all when that is ready to go.

That is about all I wanted to say. I’m sorry for my sometimes lackluster presence and I will aim to be better in the future. I am grateful to you all who are supporting me, be it in coin or just kind word. I certainly would not be here without you.

P.S.: As some of you who have been faithfully standing by me all this time may remember, this originally started as a support page for one particular project, a brainchild of mine called Semper Fidelis. While it has been a while since I moved it along, I still want to finish it and get it to print one day. And rest assured I have not eaten through all the money you sent in support of that idea. They have been all stashed on a secure account, set aside for when the need for printing arises - something I am planning to make a separate post about soon. And all those who contributed to its making will have a special gift waiting for them when that happens. I noted you all down and I will not forget.
