I have a very special relationship with FFXV's chapter 9. (Read: I absolutely love it, as anyone passing in my ZIP code area over the past year had to have heard.) Since I only own one Final Fantasy shirt, I wanted to make myself something to wear for KupoCon.
It was originally supposed to be more of a joke shirt saying "I just finished chapter 9 and I am not okay", but Leviathan's design is just so damn epic I had to go and run a bit batty with the details. (It may be a bitchy sea serpent, but damn if that thing isn't absolutely gorgeous.)
So... a serious shirt then...
(Still not sure if I did it proper justice, because the design is so intricate I had to simplify it a bit. But what's done is done.)
And when I finally sent it to print and showed it to a friend, they asked if they could get a print of it, so I made a few... and thought "Well, why not bring a few spares to Kupo, maybe someone will like them." And they vanished. I honestly had no idea they'd be gone within like 2 hours. (If you're reading this as one of those who gave the bitchy serpent a new home, please, accept my thanks once again, I'm really happy you like it.)
Since the demand was way higher than the supply, I'm sorry if you didn't get around to snatch your copy, but I'm currently trying to figure out a sustainable way of selling prints & stuff online, so I'll keep you posted.
And... well. It's certainly not my last piece of FF fanart, if I have anything to say about it.

I'm so sorry, I completely missed the comment at first! (October has been more than a little batty like that). Leviathan was certainly epic. I'm glad I managed to somehow capture a bit of that. That said, if you want a print, I made spares, so just poke me through a DM about where you want me to send it, and it's yours. Considering your art was one of those that kept me glued to this fandom, some credit for this piece even existing goes to you :>

The most fun I have ever had with a boss battle, beautiful and breathtaking, and your painting evokes that epic feeling all over again. I love that you included the Ring, too! If I'd been at the con, I would have bought a print. <3
