2020-01-30 09:06:42 +0000 UTCIt's a chat messenger with rich group functionality. For "old" users, it's very much like IRC chats. Channels, bots. Also I think sound chats? AFAIK it fits great for gaming and RPG groups or coordination efforts.

It would be cool to receive updates sometimes, even if they're not 'perks', such as announcements on what the next video will be (even if it's just a title, even if this info can be found in the Discord channels).

Not an idiot, but probably need clearer directions on your connect emails. (I'm an Idiot).
