Increased price for new iOS users
Added 2024-08-12 17:29:03 +0000 UTCApparently, if you use Patreon's app for iOS, they'll be using increased prices for memberships and purchases. This is only true for iOS. Anfroid users have no price changes. Also as far as I know, this won't affect existing supporters using iOS either.
So, if you're an iOS user and are planning to join, that's something to keep in mind.

Don't even have to use a computer, just as long as you don't subscribe through the app. Mobile web should be totally fine. I'd rather Patreon just removed the option to subscribe from the app. That way there'd be no customer confusion about different prices being presented, and all creators would be on equal footing (creators who charge per creation can't take new subscribers through the app at all; Apple does not support that).
