A few of us are doing our best to keep them alive over here, whether for the saint's day or for Imbolc. (Checking if the rushes are green inside, laying out cloth for a Brat Bríd &amp; then cutting it into strips to give away, making a Brídeóg dolly &amp; weaving Brigid's crosses -- the whole 9 yards. We even make butter in the evening.) Very cool to hear about it from someone who grew up where at least some of that was the cultural norm!

I agree! We just don't know what has happened/is happening to the person in front of us. There are a lot of homeless people in the big city near me and I hear many people complain that they are freeloaders or con artists because they ask for money. I always say it's not our job to judge, it's our job to give.

Jaysus - I am still thinking about this! Tom Hardy in Bronson or as Bane in the Batman movie. To a lesser extent, Mark Wahlberg in Pain and Gain. Escalators - 😱. I got stuck at the top of one as a child and I am terrified of them!! I will walk to the other end of the mall to take the elevator just to avoid the terror of the escalator. My legs actually lock up and I start shaking, heart pounding, sweating - total terror. It is the most unrational and ridiculous fear, but I have never found a way to get rid of it. Also absolutely terrified of heights.....possibly related to the escalator thing 🤔.

While I was at work, I got a small headache due to hunger, sleepiness, and very pushy people. After listening to this ramble, I laughed, smiled, and my headache disappeared. A very nice way to spend an evening, indeed ^_^

Agree with you about porn. I used to be a huge consumer of it, but as I learned more about the sex industry I suddenly found myself thinking about working conditions and the exploitation aspect every time I watched it. All my orgasms came with a side helping of guilt that I was in any way supporting the exploitation of my fellow women (and men). That turned me off pretty quick. Plus, the content is just so impersonal and tends toward objectification and violence. I had pretty much stopped watching it by the time I found your channel. It's a new &amp; welcome balance. (And weirdly, I do find I've been thinking twice about &amp; somewhat reducing the when, where, how often &amp; how much I consume meat.)
