2020-10-02 01:21:28 +0000 UTCExactly . If US democracy falls , what is next? CCCP can win

2020-10-01 14:24:46 +0000 UTCHere is a different point of view of what was going on in the debate. Let’s take a step back to look at a bigger picture of what exactly was Trump doing. On the surface, he kept on interrupting and talking over the mediator and his opponents to create a chaotic scene for the public. His intention was to show that was what politics about: chaotic, childish, despicable, worthless, pointless, etc. in order to turn off people’s interest in politics and not to vote. He was not willing to say that he would transfer his power peacefully to the new administration if he loses and it should be the Supreme Court’s decision. That means it will not be the US people’s decision to elect a president. This goes against the meaning of democracy. He also constantly attacked the mailing ballot which was widely used in US for very long time without problem. He was setting the stage for his claim that the election is rigged and not valid if he loses. Then, the decision will go to the Supreme Court and that can explain why he is so eager to put in Amy Barrett right away. Chris Wallace provided him with opportunity to clarify his position on the racial discrimination, hoping he would denounce white supremacists, but he wouldn’t. Instead he told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by”, which means hold off now but await further instructions.

2020-10-01 03:25:54 +0000 UTCIt's make Russia great again. Follow the money.
Make American great again . Not make Hong Kong great again

2020-09-30 22:41:34 +0000 UTCSo true. It's sad because in looking for a champion to fight their own oppressor, a lot of otherwise well meaning folks here are just so eager to jump. It's ironic because there was just a debacle about 指鹿為馬 in HK. And Trump just did a master class of that and the same people who are outraged by the debacle in HK just fall in line and say Trump won. What the hell did he win? Public opinion? Most certainly not unless you're sitting in a red state. I get and sympathize with the notion of HK being something of a special interest group and whoever looks out for the group gets the support. But there's a line there somewhere

2020-09-30 15:37:54 +0000 UTCIt becomes more interesting when we dig deep into the demographics here and the related bias. In the States, those who have higher education and wealthier people tend to vote Joe Biden. However, people in this page are generally having an education level higher than Hong Kong's average (except me :o) ) and perhaps also wealthier than the Hong Kong average (also except me :o) ) Arguably that would either imply the support base of Trump in Hong Kong is exactly opposite to that in his country, or there is a wide-range of Pro-Trump sentiment in Hongkong, which seems to be a meaningful topic to investigate. That being said, the election winner would be best predicted only by Mr Siu.

Trump cut in too much, 變相冇風度,bully。 keep your calm" very important

Betty PUN
