Also are believed to wear the skins of the animals they transform into, so it’s considered taboo to wear the pelt of any animal within the culture. The Navajo are only known to wear sheepskin and buckskin, and only during ceremonies. Encounters are basic haunted house.. knocks on windows/banging on the walls. BUT, also animal-like figures peering in through a window. Freeeekee! *nightmare mode activated* I’ve always tried to be as far away from windows as I can be after dark for this reason. Bahaha Legend also says that they’re almost never caught. The only way to kill a skinwalker is to learn its true identity, then “pronounce the name of their evil done in full”.. only then will it get sick or die.
