I've not been interested in the Vampire genre lately. Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview with the Vampire, the latest "Dracula" with Jonathan Rhys Meyers (talk about yer Irish Vamps) The Blood Lust series started to turn me( ha ha) to this genre once more. I love vignettes, it doesn't have to be part of a series. This has a timeless quality. Some of the language is modern but the Gaelic harks back to the past like you've lived centuries. Consent? Who could deny your ardently sensual plea... to be filled with your essence and drink from you...kinda sexy❤

I have a confession to make. When I was a much younger Lovely, I was deeply into the Vampire Chronicles and wanted Lestat to turn me into his companion. This definitely stirred all kinds of nostalgic feelings in me 🥰😊 Yum! The fire sounds were really pleasant. Added a feeling of cosiness.

I just had to watch this movie tonight. It’s been forever since I’ve seen it.

After years of listening to G, I am frequently baffled by how he is able to still surprise me or turn me on/get under my skin. Listening and enjoying the story/narrative, then the sound effect of his tongue and the sucking you hear when he asks you to turn your head........and............I'm done. Not the same kissing/sucking sound he uses during oral or during eargasms. 🤔👂 Chills and clenching in all of the right places. 🧛‍♂️👅☠💚💚

Ooh! This is a conversation I've had with a bunch of Irish people & students & teachers of the language! May I tender a preliminary response? 🤓 Outside of Ireland, people tend to say "Irish" by strong preference over "Gaelic" to avoid confusion w/ either Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig) or the language family in general, which includes Irish (Gaeilge), Scottish (Gàidhlig), & Manx on one side & Welsh, Breton, & Cornish (which may be extinct now, alas) on the other, at least as the major members. In Ireland, I've heard people refer to the Irish language as Gaelic (like G does, since it's clearer which Gaelic language is meant), Gaeilge (the language's name in Irish), or Irish. The only thing I've been told (by a friend who grew up in Donegal & now lives outside of Dublin) that I'll "*never* hear from an actual Irish person" is "Irish Gaelic", which is reasonably common to hear in the U.S. Of course, I've no way of knowing if that's universally accurate, or a Donegal perspective, etc., but I can confirm it's the one variation I haven't heard in my Irish travels so far. Of course, even as a student of the language, as an American I'm hardly the final word. Maybe one of our Irish Lovelies or G himself could weigh in?
