I love your rambles. They are like hanging out with a good friend, listening to their stories and sharing laughs. I often find myself responding out load because that's how authentic they are. 🤗 My best friend passed away on Christmas day, when I was 18. So the holidays can be really hard some years and others years they are great. I definitely want to listen to the other ramble you mentioned. Thank you again, for all that you are and all that you do. 💛💗💛

Dude, you can cook for me anytime, that looks delicious! ...except for the mushy peas 😅 Y’all straight up call them “mushy” for goodness’ sake, what’s a girl supposed to do with that? (The Sorted guys haven’t sold me on that that one either, and two of them are professional chefs.) A fun and friendly time, like all your rambles, and there’s just something very happy about being one of the ‘lads’ and sitting in on your stories. I’m really sorry to hear about your mom’s health problems, that stuff just sucks to deal with. Gaelforce has really helped me get through the last, awful months. If you put a tiny bit of oil, no more than a teaspoon or so, in the pot when you're boiling potatoes, uncovered, it'll prevent overboiling. Your niece sounds like a delight, and OMG that car story, lol! I had a couple of ladies try to pull my car door handles thinking it was their car, and if I wasn't so good at keeping the door locked while I'm in a parking lot and otherwise distracted, I probably would have screamed.😂 We laughed about it instead, after I was done being startled. This was just the besht fun to listen to on Christmas Eve morning. It's 7am now here in Melbourne on Thursday, I've got a big day ahead. We're not doing anything huge for Christmas this year but I still have food to prepare. So I made a cuppa and spent the hour writing lists while you cooked 😊 Not a bad way to spend it at all! The pie sure does look great - I'm not normally into savoury pies but that looks and sounds delicious and something I would try. Last night my daughter asked if I would make pie for Christmas, though she wants apple pie - I haven't made one in years and have never made one that worked out well so that'll be a nice little challenge for me today. I'll post a pic if it works out. Thankyou for the very comforting and amusing ramble and sharing the stories! I heard someone say putting a matchstick between your teeth when cutting onions keeps you from crying but it damn sure didn’t work for me. 😂 This was so much fun - I laughed, I got a few hunger pangs, I watched some thoughts go by, and even did some baby breathin’. What a ride. Mine would be more of the dog food aesthetic but I’m sure it’d taste pretty good if I could figure out how to eat with my eyes closed. Better keep them open though.
