For what it’s worth, I’d give anything to have someone talk to me like this and be this sensitive to my emotional needs. For me, it’s the lack of daylight. Even while I fully expect it coming, try to prepare, and take a vitamin D supplement, it still gets me at times. Then when you said “Let it be” my mind went right to the Beetles song.

Lilac, I can relate. I too get overwhelmed and I struggle with this a lot. I get easily overwhelmed by things that seem simple for other people. I am also a little bit obsessive about making to-do lists, setting goals, trying to push myself. And I beat myself up when I don’t accomplish “enough.” Here’s the thing. You are worthy of good things now. The checks on your to-do list are not who you are and they do not determine whether you have earned a reward. Speak to yourself as if you were speaking to a friend. Your friends want you to enjoy life and not feel guilty. Sending hugs your way 💗

thank you, I always get slightly sad in October, as it falls means the end of warm weather, and I do love the rain, I'm just not ready to let go of summer, and it means the holidays are near and customer service is not an easy job come October, so I try to live in the moment, and not think to far ahead, and just push thru til January, but also be sure to enjoy the holidays. Unlike last year I am looking forward to the holidays, my energy level is so much better. I see the joy this year, thankfully, and this place always helps with that. Looking forward to Thanksgiving, and seeing mom and dad for Christmas, and finally getting some puppy smooches from the doggy who hasn't seen me since March of 2020. It really contours the audio and creates the mood you intended. I don’t experience seasonal sadness, but I LOVE this time of year and the changing of the leaves and all the beauty of rebirth. I love this metaphor with the tree! When I feel down I like to have a walk in the forest or at least a parc. After a while it calms me down and when I think about my problems, I start to wonder how many tiny humans already walked by the trees and complained about their tiny human problems. And these old strong trees stand around me, listening and showing me how many storms, winters and droughts they already have survived…
