It's only the style of "retention editing" perfected by MrBeast that gets to the top. Even other content genres, such as educational or tech YouTubers are copying this format. What should i do?

Yes, this is indeed possible. Although it would require that I build up all those audiences and revenue channels independently and split my attention accordingly. I would love to dedicate 100% of my time to this channel. But I fear that's not gonna be possible.

2024-04-05 13:49:54 +0000 UTCHi The Hated One! I've been following you on YouTube for quite some time now. My husband supports you on Patreon and after listening to this podcast, I asked him to send you my words of support. It seems like you are constantly fighting with your conscience, because your intellectual and moral level doesn't allow you to *lower* the quality of your videos in favour of profit. The path of intelligent content can feel lonely and outsiderish sometimes. But what you're doing is really cool. Starting with your range of interests (which fortunately for us goes beyond the patterns of YouTube algorithms), your video editing style, your essays and how much effort have been put into them. I don't have a solution for you, because making profit means being *content creator* more than being a *person*. But content can only reach a level like yours when it's done by the real you. I just wanted you to know that it's appreciated. Good luck!
