Tools and resources for better story telling in my videos?
Added 2024-04-06 20:31:46 +0000 UTCTl;dr Do you know of any great sources I can use to learn to tell better stories that reach a wider audience? Where do you think I am doing things wrong?
I have never been a story teller. I have always focused on research and thought that research alone is just as interesting to others as it is for me. But understandably, that cannot be the case.
Reaching a wider audience has always been an uphill battle for me. I want to make improvements where I can so if you have anything where you think I do things wrong, please let me know.

Yes, I will have to completely rethink my presentation. Which is gonna be hard for me because I love research, and am pretty good at doing research, but I am not a marketer so that's gonna be a challenge for me. But I accept it.

Once I have decided that I like a video from a YouTuber, I watch more and I also watch videos that I don't like so much in the hope that I will like a video again as much as I did the first time

I often find that whenever one tells an uncomfortable truth, people just wont listen and shut out. It's hard to reach people because of that. Perhaps some livestreams were you go over your latest videos just talking about those topics? like bringing down to earth the way those topics can affect in a personal level every listener?
