Hey everyone, Max here. I wanted to let you folks know that I had to take up a full time job. First off, let me make it clear, we are still working on EoK. It's just that rent as gone up and everything just cost more, because of that I'm no longer able to rely on my part time and it's impossible to find a job that pays high enough that isn't full time. ( At least where I live) As much as I want to make games for a living that's not feasible full time at this moment.
So this past week, I started the new job and it's been killing me, I was native in thinking that I can do full time animations & this job without some give. Thankfully, with the team, I am able to get some work on the game done. I promise EoK is not going anywhere, just my time got eaten up again. I know I said I was going to be doing nothing but animations and well.. that isn't possible right now. I'll do what I can but it's not going to be the large amount that I wanted to do, so animations will happen over time slowly again. This build will most realistically be more art polish, item art and bug fixes. At this point, we might pause the Patreon next month if we need more time to get the new systems out.
Sorry for the random changes from me. Most of this is my fault and not fault of the team. Hope you are having a good start of the week. See you all at the end of the month.
TDLR: Got a full time job because rent and I like food but less time for the animations overhaul this month, update will be smaller than planned.
