The votes have been tallied and the winner of Pilot Week #2 is… Atlas! This means starting within the next few weeks the Templin Institute will begin investigating the most storied places from across alternate worlds. You can expect episodes of Atlas on Thursdays rotating between our other shows, Dossier and Incoming.
The competition this time around was fiercer than ever, and Debates garnered a sizable percentage of the vote. Several of you rightfully criticized the format for not being a true “debate” in that there were no rebuttals or closing statements. The reason for this was that we expected it would be much too time intensive to reliably produce a multi-part discussion every month, if Debates was going to be a regular show, it would need to be a bit more manageable.
Why are we going into all this detail over a show that didn’t even win? Well we think we might have a solution. Given that Debates was such a popular choice this round and it generated such an amazing level of interaction from all of you, we’ve decided to occasionally include “Debates” within our “Incoming” episodes. They won’t be released as frequently as our other shows, but they’ll be much more in depth with opening statements and rebuttals, the whole nine yards.
So, two new shows for the price of one! That ain’t bad right? Thanks to all of you so much for your support both here on Patreon and across Youtube/Facebook/Twitter/Twitch/Discord/whatever. There’s still a lot of content coming up though! Our new stream night “Fuck You It’s Friday” premieres this …Friday the 15th and our new mini-series Stellaris Invicta begins on June 23rd! There’s so much going on these days and we owe it all to you!
So until next time, what do you want to see covered in Atlas!?
