i know of a theory (i think it wqas more than just a theory i think it was actual lore just obscured and obviouslty non canon) where humans from earth aboard a colony ship in the future fell into a wormhole that spouted them out near coruscant. they landed n the planet and were captured and enslaved by the primitive locals. the aliens reverse engineered the technology and the data from the wormhole to develop hyperspace travel and colonized many worlds in the core bringing their human slaves with them. eventually the humans vastly outnumbered the aliens and overthrew them. hence why the core is human dominated and highly advanced
