Operation: Thundershark Update #3

Attention Institute Personnel! 

As part of Operation: Thundershark-- I mean Templin 2.0-- we’re going to be making some changes to our Patreon tiers and we wanted to give you a heads up. 

Because of Patreon fees, a very small percentage of a $1 pledge (Security Clearance Alpha) actually goes towards supporting The Templin Institute. Therefore we’ve decided that as of October 31, we will no longer be offering a $1 pledge level for new Patrons. 

This means that new patrons who would like to support The Templin Institute will be able to pledge starting at $2. If you’re currently a $1 tier supporter, this won’t affect you. You will still pay only $1 and receive the same rewards you’ve always received. This includes voting in polls and access to our exclusive #advisors-lounge Discord channel. $1 tier Patrons can still choose to upgrade at any time, but should you choose to do so, you won’t be able to downgrade back down to $1 after October 31. 

The $2 tier will be the same as it currently is, where patrons at this level have Discord access, digital wallpaper, and the ability to vote in polls. No other tiers will be changing for the October 31 date, but there may be some other changes coming in the near future that we’re not ready to announce just yet.
