An Update To The Templin Institute Patreon

Attention Institute Personnel!

What a difference a year makes! This time in 2020, we were still in the middle of our hiatus and now, in 2021, we’ve just come off the launch of our new series Arsenal, and our two part series on the First Order. Not to mention our continuing work on Stellaris Invicta Season 2 and our unscripted Templin Dispatches. In the last two weeks alone we’ve produced over 140 minutes of content and we couldn’t have done it without all your support here on Patreon. Thank you all so much.

It took a lot of work to get us to this place and part of that involved expanding our team. While most of you are familiar by now with the Voice of the Institute, Stephen, he is joined behind the scenes by Julia, who’s got our Patreon running better than ever, Rae, who many of you I’m sure recognize from her moderation of our Discord server, and most recently Agol, the Head Curator of the Templin Archives. We’ve also had the privilege of working with a number of freelancers helping with scripting, editing and artwork.

With the Templin Institute back on the tracks and picking up speed, I feel comfortable enough now returning to some features that had been on indefinite hold. Starting next week, we’ll be bringing back periodic “episode idea polls” where our Patrons can vote on which topic they’d like to see covered next.

On top of that, we’ll be producing regularly scheduled Q&A sessions which will be uploaded over on the Templin Archives. Priority will be given to Patrons, YouTube Members and Twitch subscribers, but everyone will be able to submit their questions. How often we hold these sessions will depend on the number of questions we get, but likely once a month or so. Expect another post here on Patreon and on our Youtube Community page where you’ll have a chance to submit your questions.

Until then, thanks again for your continued support. Despite the hiccups, over this last year it feels like the Templin Institute has been producing its best work and I’m excited to see where things go from here!
