Knights and Ladies-in-Waiting
Added 2020-10-31 05:47:45 +0000 UTCHey guys! So yesterday I made a post about the upcoming content update for the royalty mod, and today I made some really exciting progress with it!
Your noble or royal sims will now be able to designate their own personal knights and ladies in waiting!
I have been trying for ages to get sims to follow eachother and today I managed it! So the knights and ladies can be commanded to follow your sim wherever they go! (they can be stopped at anytime too)
You will also be able to command them to do things, for example you can command the knights to intimidate other sims and the ladies in waiting to dance, gossip, ect!
If you have any recommendations of what you'd like to be able to command them to do, let me know and I'll see if it's possible :)
This is just part of the update and it will contain more features which I will post about soon :)
Since this is a content update it will be available 1 week early for tier 2 patrons and above!

I want my monarchs to be wild absolutists and lead religious gatherings. I also want to get rid of political rivals by condemning them to a nunnery.

I have been using the roommate's system up to now but its very buggy and despite the fact that there are enough beds, showers etc they keep living so I keep having to make the court move back in as roommates

2020-10-31 14:16:48 +0000 UTCThis is so exciting! I can see one of my Royals having knights chase away stans and noble ladies gossiping. What fun :) This is one of my favorite mods. I’m also looking forward to updates concerning peasants, like peasant uprisings. I’m playing a kingdom legacy challenge with random events every few rounds and it would be neat to have peasants react after something like a famine, taxes that are too high, or war that has gone on too long. Looking forward whenever you make an update!

2020-10-31 09:27:44 +0000 UTCthis is my favorite mod, and it keeps getting better with each update! i’m a little sad to see court mages go for the time being, but i hope they come back better than ever. maybe you could implement things like spymasters and knight captains/warmasters to go along with court mages? ( the whole classic rogue/mage/fighter thing )
