The final episode of project X5 has landed!
From a neglected turd to a fantastic-looking and driving X5.
In this episode, we finally hit the Autobahn and I gotta say, I'm amazed at how well this giant, heavy box actually handles. Now that it's all cleaned up and sorted, it's a genuinely clean and beautiful example. Love the color combo.
The project did surprisingly well and proved to be popular. I hope that you enjoyed this 5-part series and with it crossed off the list, it's time to go back to the roots!
Project Marseille, E31 850i is next and we are going strong with the OEM+ build. Next week engine and transmission are coming out and that's going to be the next episode. V12 time!

have to say that after buying a new(ish) BMW from Cuntz in Speyer recently and getting a few comments in the UK over Christmas, some M539 number plate holders would be very welcome.
2023-01-02 07:05:39 +0000 UTCThank you for an excellent video on all the details of this highly complex vehicle, from transmission, transfer case, suspension, adaptive biXenon headlights, excellent V8 and many more features. I replaced the OEM runlet tires on my 528i with Michelin Primacy MXM4 and found the ride and handling was improved over the OEM, and they were quieter.
