Pledge Goals: I need your thoughts!
Added 2018-05-31 01:08:06 +0000 UTCSo, as some of you might have noticed, I have removed the "Illustrated Stories" goal. It was something of a fun, experimental flop. Some people liked the drawings, but overall, it's not worthwhile if two-thirds of patrons don't care for—or even actively dislike—them.
So now I'm looking for new goals that are more attractive to all of you, to ensure that this sort of miscommunication doesn't happen again!
Comments are super welcome for this, but otherwise, just vote for every potential goal that interests you—selecting more than one is fine and encouraged!
Audiobook: I pay to have one of my stories read aloud.
Flashfic Compilation: This would just be a compilation of all previous Tumblr stories into one or two PDF files, complete with proper indexing. The PDFs would be available as part of the Goblin Vault for all my lovelies who want an easier way to binge.
Discord Server: I start a Discord server for my readers! I've had some requests to implement this for the community, but have never really gotten around to it for a number of reasons.
Ebook Novel Compilations: I start editing and compiling stories like Evergreen Forest and Monstrous Ranch into full, completed ebooks. Long-time patrons get free copies, of course!
Creature Compendium: This would be an ebook compiling summaries of around 25-100 creatures of the Cloistered Lands with short stories (some new, some taken from flashfics/existing chapters), summaries of their powers and manners, and potentially something like D&D stats, if people are interested! It would be free for long-time Patrons.

I'd like to know that a Giggling Goblin cookbook exists out there in the real world. I'd certainly partake, as the taste and effects seem to be just what the doctor ordered.

2018-05-31 22:06:06 +0000 UTCI think a creature compendium would be the best choice, even if the most expensive. Even though an audiobook could be turn out incredible, voices, like art, are just too subjective to satisfy everyone, especially since most readers already have their own voices for the different characters in their heads. A discord server is nothing I would be actively using, and it doesn't really matter to me if I read the story in a PDF or in some ebook format.

2018-05-31 11:24:19 +0000 UTCI totally agree—if I could get TSS to do a full story reading, I'd pay for it in a heartbeat!

2018-05-31 02:52:17 +0000 UTCI can totally understand this concern—similar concerns were voiced about the illustrations, and I can't help but agree a little!

2018-05-31 02:51:49 +0000 UTCIf the audiobook goal is funded, then Thesecretsubject, or Amisakadarthana/Kaprika would be great choices for readers

2018-05-31 02:39:22 +0000 UTCAudiobook is a big no-no to me. The voices of your characters are supposed to reflect their supernatural powers and I really doubt the actors will be good enough to convey that properly.
