Vault: Thoughts on the Ranch (Epilogue Edition)

Haha! This one really shouldn't have run so long, but I got carried away. Um... hope y'all like reading me talking about my own characters! Hopefully I don't repeat myself too much from the last doc. I just really wanted to get these thoughts down.

Attached, I talk a little about how each character attains their "just reward". I also explain more about the Ward's/Ranch's history, and I've got both a tiny deleted mini-scene with the cupid and the full, unedited original outlines I wrote up for this story!

It was supposed to be fifteen chapters. Let's... let's just say things didn't go according to plan.

Kinda like this document. :P

As someone who wishes to write, this was an immensely interesting read! 'Structure' has always been one of my weakest points, so not only did this shed a lot of light behind the scenes, but it might also serve to help me plan out my own efforts! Fantastic stuff, all of it!

God, this is pure ambrosia. I love seeing the framework behind one of my favorite writers' writing.

Interesting stuff. I was a big fan of Laca's ending being different from the others (even the other "legitimate prisoners" like say Scarlet). The last couple of chapters (when things go to hell and the plot really starts moving) reminded me quite a lot of the Exposed story. The "party" in that have wildly differing powers and long term goals, but they're all in a common cause for the moment and so are cooperative and even friendly with each other. Which I really, really enjoyed. So are the escaping prisoners in this... except for Laca, who is literally ten paces out of her cell when she begins the "all the rest of you are my slaves now" approach. So it is kinda fitting that she gets a different end than the others. Nice story! :)
