In which, in the interests of facilitating movement through the Emerald Forest, Alrek is persuaded against his better judgment to make a deal of secret-trading with an imp—and soon finds himself struggling to remember that he ever had better judgment at all.

Hello, my lovelies! This was a really fun BP to write. I really got to play with Alrek's general common sense and strong will in a difficult situation, and it was a chance for some major worldbuilding!

This story is set about 1-2 stories after Wicked Amusement, after the visit to the Standing Stones.
