In which we resume our tale, with Trys struggling to see her fellow knights reunited. Meanwhile, Ia seeks to return to the others, and Okino has a lucky break.

Returning to Intrepid Pawns was difficult, for several reasons. One, it's been ages—over a year, in fact! But it's also hard to get back into this story because when I started writing it, I had a very different style of outlining that wasn't very effective at creating cogent stories. Call it the "Evergreen Model". I'd outline several chapters ahead, but have little idea about the ultimate ending.

I'll talk more about this when I eventually finish these stories! But basically, Intrepid Pawns is kinda a mess. It's supposed to be all about the Thriae, but around half of it focuses on sorceresses and catgirls. Working out how to refocus such a messy narrative is tricky, and will take a lot of effort.

Anyways, it was a fun chapter, and I look forward to continuing Intrepid Pawns at long last! :)
