Early Bird: The Honey Trap

This was a really, really fun story to write, and I hope it shows. The alt-end will be up sometime this month, though I've got no current scheduling plans for it, so no promises on it being prompt!
This story is non-canon. Putting Alrek on the Wild Continent would be fun, but canonically, he's never been on such a journey—yet, anyways. Verre might reappear later on, though. I like her. In general, I think the "extremely rude but irresistible tiny hypnotist" is a trope I really like writing, and it pairs well with the Thriae, who adore humiliating their victims. And they pair well enough with Alrek, the man who hates being embarrassed, so well I can't believe this is his first written encounter with Thriae.
