Flashfic: Witches, Kisses, and Stones

Hello, my lovelies!

This is sort of the first taste of how I'm planning to do flashfics from now on—I will still be posting some publicly (one or two a week, I think), but most are gonna be going into the Vault. One or two might be sent as exclusives to whoever is currently at least a $1+ patron, and others will be made publicly available on whatever site I replace Tumblr with!

This week, it's available to all Patrons, just so I can explain everything more clearly. Next week, a post like this will probably be Goblin Vault material.

I'll also be looking to get you all this month's Bonus Pairing (Alrek vs. Kelpies!) then.

Key Changes:

I'm not gonna be counting as much by posts. No more "seven posts a week" this or "five posts a week" that. Instead, I'm going to focus on quality—it'll still be around 2,500-4,000 words a week, but it might be one story or several (this week, it's three). I will try to tie them more closely to the setting and story, and more will likely involve established characters like Masva and Salia, Alrek and Larya, Senya and Valina, Mier and Swish, etc, rather than it all being one-shots with no significance to my stories.

As mentioned, about 50-80% of these stories are going to be Patreon-exclusive—either destined for the Vault or as one-time perks for current patrons. This is mostly a motivation thing. I want to be focusing more of my energies on nice things for my patrons while still giving everyone—paying or no—access to nice, quick, worldbuildy smut. The ratio will fluctuate, but I think this new structure allows me to more carefully focus and distribute my time between flashfics and full chapters, with less concern about neglecting the Goblin Vault.

This Week's Flashfics

This week's episodes involve a little peek at a story I have yet to even outline about Larya's and Alrek's first visit to the Standing Stones, yet another indulgent drop into the pink world of the cupids, and some exposition on the Cloistered Lands' most misunderstood community of magic-users: the witches and their "apprentices".
