Pledge Goal Poll (yes, another)
Added 2018-12-15 20:02:38 +0000 UTCHello, my lovelies! The Alrek vs. Kelpies/Krakeness BP will be up later today. Thank you for your patience—it's been quite tricky to write! <3
So, a little questionnaire here, since I've been becoming increasingly lukewarmish about the upcoming $375 pledge goal—mainly because I'm not sure it's actually that exciting for those of you who've been reading for a while. Going back and editing old stories is something I'd like to do, but I think I'd rather do it on my own time.
So, it's another pledge goal poll! I've got a few ideas on the docket—checkmark all the ones that really interest you! No limit to how many times you can vote on this one. :)
Creature Compendium: As has been discussed previously, at this goal, I set out to compile a nice Monster Girl Encyclopedia-style book on all (or a lot of) the creatures of the Cloistered Lands. Mind you, it wouldn't just be summary—I'd include extra stuff like little stories and possibly D&D stats or something just for fun.
D&D Sessions: Okay, this one's maybe a weird one, but here goes: At this goal, I create a special $6.50 tier where you get to take part in a once-a-month text D&D session set in the Cloistered Lands, exploring the same world that Alrek, Larya, Senya and the rest inhabit. I've heard some people imply this would be interesting to them, and I actually really love GMing, so it would be really fun, I think, if people would be up for it. The transcript and GM notes would later be uploaded to the Goblin Vault (with edits/anonymity at the discretion of the players). In the probably unlikely event of more than 4-6 potential players interested, it would be a revolving system, with you being added to the queue as soon as your first payment comes in. People who hit a lifetime pledge of $150 would also be able to get added to the queue, but only the once!
Going Back to Edit Old Stories: If you honestly like this option, let me know! I'm still on the fence about it!
Six Chapters a Month: This would be a really-really high tier in which I can actually afford to hire an editor to take on a chunk of the workload. Like, probably when/if we hit around $750 per chapter, if we're being honest. Still, something to strive for, maybe, if you want it! :P
Independent Ebook: At this tier, I spend next NaNoWriMo writing up my "The Exquisite Garden" novel, to be published on Amazon (or a less shitty site, if I can find one that pays). The first chapter of that novel is already on the Vault.
Also, please-please-please tell me if there's anything you'd like to see more of or less of from this Patreon! I honestly really worry that people feel like it's just not living up to what was promised, so any idea of what could be improved would be welcome! If nothing else, it would definitely help settle some insecurities! <3

Love the idea of D&D sessions.

2018-12-16 00:50:26 +0000 UTCI appreciate your thoughts! Yeah, I think part of the problem is that "girl v. girl" options tend to dominate Bonus Pairing polls, so when we're in an f/f-heavy period (like with Intrepid Pawns, which has a lot of female characters right now), it can get a bit over-the-top. It should swing back around soon, though. And feel free to request some malesub ideas for your flashfic requests!

2018-12-15 23:38:11 +0000 UTCI have no issues with the way you run the patreon, but I'd personally like to see more m/f stuff. Wanted to press enter and accidentally posted. Oops. Anyway, that's preference and not criticism, and I'm satisfied with how you currently run things.

2018-12-15 23:00:34 +0000 UTCNo worries! I've considered using Literotica's volunteer editors, but it's so hard to find ones who are still active. :P

2018-12-15 21:23:12 +0000 UTCMaybe its an option to reach out to Literocita's volunteer editors for help with the old chapters. Since they've already been posted for a while I don't see a conflict of interest with using a volunteer for them instead of paid posts for patreon and it'd help you save time on it? Either way I think your earlier work was great at the time, would be nice to read them again after they've been edited. Whatever you end up doing, love your writing and am always looking forward to seeing what your imagination comes up with. And I'm sorry if I'm ever a bother with my ideas or anything =P
