Oh, boy. This was a long one. In fact, at over 12,500 words, it's actually double the ideal chapter length, so I hope you all can forgive the alt-ending being delayed a little. I considered splitting it up, in fact, but... well, I felt like you all deserved a bit of an indulgence after the dry spell. I'll aim to have the Alt-End done by the end of the month!
It's also very much canon, being set at a very particular point in the narrative we have yet to really explore yet. Let's see if you can guess it. :)
It also gets a little bit darker than usual at the end, or at least a bit creepy. I didn't plan that! It just sorta happened.

I really like Vignir. I have a thing for powerful women controlled, whether that's a large muscular woman who could break her slight mistress in half if her mind wasn't as weak as her body was strong, or like here where you have a powerful controller controlled by a less powerful one and used to brainwash others for her.

Amazing writing, you have a real talent making characters and I think that's why I love all stories with Alerk just because his stubbornness fleshes out the scenes more than some others. Although I couldn't pick a character i didn't like if you ever asked!
