Another Quick Update

So, some of you are probably wondering where the updates were this month. Yes, I do still have two finished chapters to edit. I'm considering posting one or both of them partially-edited, but I'd really rather finish revising them myself first than post incomplete products. More stories are definitely on their way!
The truth is, the last few weeks have been hard on my family and loved ones. Without getting into specifics, a family member died (not one I was very close to), an intimate friend entered a serious identity crisis, and another intimate friend suffered a severe breakup. This, combined with aforementioned (non-threatening) medical issues, has left me a little swamped trying to offer support and comfort to those around me. And in happier news, we had two birthdays this month, and, well, Christmas! Which has meant buying gifts, cooking and baking, cleaning up, decorating, cleaning up from decorating...
Basically, I'm swamped.
To be clear, I'm emotionally just fine, but that's mainly because I'm being careful to avoid burnout. Thank goodness, I got most all of my D&Dazes sessions finished earlier in the month, so I've actually been able to spend these last two weeks taking care of myself so I can take care of others.
I'm going to be getting back to work soon, once the current issues have been resolved and I've had a few minutes to sit and breathe. I appreciate all of you putting up with the months where I only posted one or two updates, but that's not what I want to be the standard. I enjoy writing—now more than ever, in fact, as I've really been getting back into what I enjoy in my work with these new stories. I want to write more. I just have a lot to do right now.
I'm very optimistic for January. I really want to get Bonus Pairing polls up and running again. You've all been very patient, but it's long overdue. I miss them too! <3
tl;dr: I'm still intent on writing, and actually quite excited for it I just literally haven't had the minutes to spare. I've missed working on these stories and plan to get back into them within a week.

Yes, you can easily be understood, now practically everyone is loaded with things related to the holidays and also other things ... I understand you, you want to do what you love, but because of certain cases it is still impossible ... Never mind, you will still catch up!
