Just Checking In

Update: Things got a bit rocky literally twenty minutes after this original post went up, and I've been forced to take sort of an unplanned second sabbatical. This one should be shorter, I hope. I need to put myself back together a little bit and I can't do that and work at the same time. It's not burnout-related.

To my D&Dazes/RP supporters, I may be looking to offer some refunds or downsize the $69, $99 and $149 tiers over the next week or so, as I won't be able to start scheduling in the immediate vicinity and may not be able to meet expectations for July. I will be in touch with commissioners in the same timeframe to reconfirm new anticipated timelines.

No paid-for commission deadlines will be affected.

Please, no well-wishes or reassurances at this time. My issues are strictly personal and in this case I would like them to remain that way at this time. Thank you. <3

Hello, my lovelies!

Sorry we missed last Friday's update. The heat dome left me basically immobile, so I ended up running behind. The Flashfic Round-Up will be up this Sunday, and a new chapter (probably Parlor Treats--Milky Baroness is being placed on hiatus for the time being) will be up this Friday.

I do want to acknowledge, while we're close enough to the end of this cursed month that I think I can avoid jinxing it, that there is one other potential hijacker waiting in the wings. Heat and technical difficulties were one thing, but it's wildfire season now, and I have no way to be sure that we won't end up going through another month-long stretch of burning skies and choking yellow air. That could happen anytime between now and mid-September, and I'm praying it doesn't--or that it's at least less awful than it was in 2020--but if it does happen, I'm basically going to go offline until the air is clear again.

Stay safe, and take care! If it's hot where you are, put aluminum foil on cardboard and cover your windows. It's done wonders for us.
